Life seemed much simpler just a few hours ago, all I had to know was that demons were evil and they had to be eliminated. That was before I've been told I WAS one of them. Well, a half-blood at least. I tried to deny it for a little while, but my life started to show the evidence. Why else would my mother have never even mentioned my father? Not even a last name? Not to mention she tried to keep me as far away from other children as she could. I envied other children, the way they laughed and played, not a worry in the world.

I don't believe in folklore, vampires aren't nearly as hard to kill as they're made out to be. Now, why mention vampires when entering the demon universe? This place screams Count Dracula. The cliche castle, dark sky, sea of blood, a vampire's paradise. Still, this is where the window led me when I asked it to find the demon woman. Maybe she isn't a demon after all.

I guess I'm just too good at my job. Anyway, now I have to open a window myself, and god knows how long that takes. So, I guess while I'm busying doing that, I might as well tell you a little about myself.
My name is Gez, no last name as far as I know. My mother never really mentioned anything about it, and seeing as she never enrolled me in school or any other public things like that, it never seemed relevant. That's not too say I'm uneducated
I hate the wild. I'd much prefer killing these damn beasts in some city or something like that. Add some innocent civilians, some buildings, allies, a whole new level of suspense! But no, instead I end up running past tree after tree to find some rouge mage to stop him from summoning god knows what. Ain't life just grand?
Well, anyway, this mage isn't very discreet, finding him was no problem. The only down side, he's already finished the window between universes before I get there. I've got to say, watching the demon he summoned rip him in two gives me a sick sense of enjoyment. It doesn't take long for the demon to see me, he makes so
